Full Job Description

Position Summary: Perform network maintenance to ensure Windows networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following in addition to other duties that may be assigned.

Establish network amongst the systems as per the guidance and design specification given by the network managers or network admin
Understand the requirements of the organization and report the need for change or up-gradation in the network to the manager
Troubleshoot all kinds of network and peripheral issues and all kinds of network connectivity problems
Install and upgrade the systems with malware protection software, firewalls, back-up & recovery hardware and other peripheral devices
Collect the specifications of each system and maintain a record of the same which can help to troubleshoot easily
Plan and monitor client server projects to include specification requirements, upgrades, warehousing, installation and configuration

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science; or five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Preferred Server, Computer and Technical Skills:

3 years of direct networking experience required.
Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10
Exchange 2010, 2013 & 2016
Office 365
Cisco VoIP
Routers and Firewalls: Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWALL
Managed Switches and other peripherals
Wi-Fi systems
