Reports To: Senior Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist will assist the Senior Operations Specialist in ensuring reliable, efficient, and accurate execution of delivery and warehouse operations across all Western Wyoming Beverages (WWB) locations. This role provides route coverage, warehouse support, new driver training, cross-department coordination aligned to WWB standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Assist Senior Operations Specialist in supervising and coaching operations personnel throughout company.
- Model professional standards for uniforms, WWB values, and customer service across delivery and warehouse teams.
- Attend weekly team meetings for drivers and warehouse staff
- Provide route coverage for absences/vacancies and run delivery or sales routes as needed.
- Expert level knowledge of each delivery route
- Ensure driver competence in handhelds, check-in procedures, stocking standards, end-of-day protocols, deposits, and route requirements.
- Lead customer service excellence; resolve service issues promptly and communicate proactively with Sales and customers.
- Provide role coverage for absences/vacancies for all warehouse positions.
- Assist Senior Operations Specialist in overseeing receiving, stocking, picking, loading, repacking, and cleanliness to “walk-ready” standards.
- Assist in the management of overall warehouse efficiency (e.g., Picking CPH, non-picking hours); maintain verification and stocking SOP compliance.
- Assist in the management of the damage room and daily reporting to Inventory Coordinator; monitor recon report and product buyback codes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner daily with the Senior Operations Specialist and VP of Operations, Sales, and Service to meet operational expectations.
- Attend meetings as requested.
- Ensure 100% compliance with WWB safety program and required PPE across teams.
- Maintain vehicles and warehouse safety standards; coach and correct immediately when gaps are observed.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Assist with Driver Net Scorecard and Warehouse Net Scorecard; review results weekly with teams.
- Assist in proposing and implementing at least one operational improvement per quarter.
- Apply the TRI-POD framework—Cleanliness, Efficiency, Accuracy—across drivers and warehouse operations.
Tools, Systems & Frameworks
- Handhelds and route check-in systems (driver competence required).
- Verification and stocking SOPs; recon report monitoring; damage room process.
- Driver Net Scorecard & Warehouse Net Scorecard (weekly review and coaching).
- TRI-POD performance framework: Cleanliness, Efficiency, Accuracy.
- Ability to quickly learn beverage routes, product portfolio, warehouse processes, and delivery standards.
- Demonstrated ability to independently run new routes without supervision.
- Proven management or team leadership experience.
