Full Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine to support our Executive Chef and lead day-to-day kitchen operations. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who values precision, creativity, and collaboration.

Duties:

Ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time
Coordinating kitchen staff and assisting them as required
Hiring and training staff to prepare and cook all menu items
Stocktaking ingredients and equipment, and placing orders as needed
Enforcing best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Creating new recipes with Executive Chef
Keep track of new industry trends
Incorporating feedback from the restaurant staff and patrons to make improvements or resolve issues
Other duties as reasonably assigned

Skills:

Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or senior role in a fine dining or high-end restaurant.
Strong culinary skills with a proven ability to deliver consistent quality under pressure.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Solid understanding of kitchen operations, stock management, and cost control.
Up-to-date knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
