IT Support Specialist

Companies: Country Lane Gazebos, Tusk Molding, Patiova, & Swing Kingdom

Locations: New Holland, Leola, & Parkesburg, PA

We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to help support the daily technology needs of our companies. This role provides hands-on technical support to employees, assists with hardware and software management, and works closely with the Director of IT to maintain reliable and secure IT systems. If you enjoy solving technical problems, helping others, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Role

The IT Support Specialist provides first- and second-level technical support for employees across multiple company locations. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, set up new equipment, manage user accounts, maintain IT inventory, and assist with network and server administration. Working alongside the Director of IT, you'll support a wide variety of technology projects while helping ensure our employees have the tools they need to be successful.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

Provide first- and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other technology.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Escalate complex technical issues when needed while keeping users informed throughout the process.
Provide friendly, professional support to employees across all company locations.

Hardware & Software Administration

Configure and deploy new computers, mobile devices, and other IT equipmentInstall, update, and maintain software applications.
Perform basic hardware repairs and equipment maintenance.
Maintain organized workstation setups, cabling, and equipment.

User Accounts & System Administration

Create and maintain Microsoft 365 user accounts.
Reset passwords and manage user access and permissions.
Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP administration.
Assist with maintaining secure access to company systems.

IT Operations

Maintain inventory of computers, software, and other IT assets.
Track software licensing and renewal dates.
Assist with server administration, virtualization, backups, and cloud services.
Help maintain IT documentation and user training materials.

Network & Infrastructure Support

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment.
Support network troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
Work with the Director of IT on infrastructure improvements and special projects.
Provide backup IT support after hours when needed.

Education & Experience

Previous experience providing technical support in a business environment preferred.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with networking fundamentals, virtualization, and server administration.
Experience with IT asset management and support ticket systems is a plus.
Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
