Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Optometrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care, with comprehensive knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostics and treatment. As an integral part of our practice, you will perform detailed eye examinations, diagnose ocular conditions, and provide effective treatment plans to enhance patients' visual health and overall well-being. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in optometry while delivering exceptional service in a collaborative environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough ophthalmic patient examinations, including assessment of visual acuity, ocular health, and vital signs using advanced medical equipment and diagnostic imaging tools.
Diagnose eye conditions and disease states, providing appropriate medical treatments or referrals as necessary.
Perform contact lens fittings and adjustments, ensuring comfort and optimal vision correction for patients.

Qualifications

Valid licensure as an Optometrist with relevant state or regional certifications.
Proven experience in ophthalmology or optometry practice with a focus on patient care and diagnosis.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to eye health.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record-keeping and documentation.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex conditions clearly and compassionately.
Knowledge of contact lens fitting procedures, disease state management, and optometric treatments.
Ability to work efficiently within a team environment while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
