Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of pharmacy services. In this energetic and fast-paced position, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient records, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Your dedication to accuracy, patient service, and pharmaceutical safety will contribute directly to improved health outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Duties

Prepare, dispense, and verify prescriptions accurately using pharmacy software systems while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws.
Manage medication inventory levels, perform data entry for prescription processing, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, offering medication counseling under supervision, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
Support pharmacy operations by managing intake processes, processing insurance claims, and ensuring pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
Maintain detailed documentation of medication administration, drug regulation adherence, and pharmaceutical calculations for accurate record-keeping.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support critical care and acute care needs through precise medication preparation and timely delivery.

Requirements

Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong background in community pharmacy settings.
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacological medical terminology, and drug regulation standards.
Experience with pharmacy software systems for data entry, medication tracking, and inventory management.
Ability to interpret state healthcare regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws governing pharmacy practice.
Strong customer service skills combined with excellent attention to detail for accurate medication dispensing and record keeping.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

License/Certification:

Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
