Full Job Description

Position Summary

Become an important member of our team supporting the development and innovation of world-class backcountry aircraft that are fully manufactured in the United States. Located at our Pacific Northwest world headquarters, we are seeking a motivated individual to help support our Company’s growth in the critical task of maintaining accurate documentation as we produce high quality aircraft in Yakima, Washington. The primary role of this Administrative Assistant position is to facilitate and maintain the day-to-day documentation workflow for the Administrative Support team. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining the continuous revisions of drawings and technical documentation in addition to administrative tasks providing support to multiple departments across the Company.

Responsibilities

– Assist the Corporate Affairs Director and Engineering Manager with projects, reports, and other duties as assigned
– Assist with the management of all Controlled Data, both electronic and hardcopy
– Provide support in maintaining engineering data that defines the configuration of Cub Crafters’ products
– Facilitate the creation and maintenance of administrative processes for the efficient flow of information
– Meet deadlines for special projects and maintain productivity for ongoing documentation procedures
– Perform receptionist duties at the front desk and company storefront as needed; providing backup or support for the primary receptionist and administrative team
– Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail on all tasks

Qualifications

– Strong organizational skills, reliable attention to detail, and accuracy with repetitive tasks
– Driven to succeed while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Able to exercise sound judgment and integrity, working independently and in team settings
– Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner, both written and verbally
– Proficient in the use of MS-Office and the Google suite of cloud-based software
– An understanding of the importance of work standards and adherence to procedures in a regulatory environment
– Enjoy the challenge and success of continuous improvement as part of a team and as an individual

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

– Familiar with industry standard formats for technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
– Proficient in the use of Adobe Acrobat DC, SmartSheets, SolidWorks, and Epicor ERP software
– Associate or bachelor’s degree in a STEM or business-related field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

– Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
– Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
– Work in a production environment with noise, dust, and fumes

Compensation

– Hourly pay range: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
– Sick Leave benefit which is more generous than what is required under the WA State law (RCW 49.46.210).
– Six (6) paid holidays annually.
– HSA, HMO, PPO medical plans available. Company pays 75% of base plan for employees and 25% of base plan for dependents. Vision, dental, life and LTD coverage available at employees’ expense, at a group rate. Health care plan is available the first of the month after 30 days of continuous employment.
