Are you an experienced RN leader looking for an opportunity where your nursing expertise truly matters?

Join our established ophthalmic only surgery center and take a leadership role in a highly-skilled, patient-focused surgical environment. We are looking for a confident, organized, and compassionate Head Nurse/ASC Administrator who is ready to lead our nursing team, oversee clinical operations, and help deliver exceptional patient care.

This is more than a management position - you will be the key leader in our surgery center, working closely with our surgeons, nurses, surgical technicians, and clinic staff to ensure safe, efficient, and outstanding patient experiences with excellent results.

Key Points:

3-4 surgery days per week with opportunity to provide meaningful leadership, oversight, and time for administrative duties.
Be actively involved in decisions that impact nursing practice, patient safety, staffing, workflow, and the overall success of the ASC.
Work alongside dedicated ophthalmic surgeons and an experienced surgical team.
We value leadership that improves efficiency, strengthens teamwork, and elevates patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all nursing and clinical operations of the ophthalmic ASC
Provide leadership, direction, mentoring, and support to nursing staff
Coordinate surgery schedules and daily clinic operations
Collaborate closely with surgeons
Ensure compliance with CMS, Washington State, L&I, AAAHC, and ASC requirements
Participate in CMS and regulatory surveys, audits, and accreditation activities
Manage medications, supplies, equipment, and clinical inventory
Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and clinical standards
Oversee staff scheduling, orientation, education, competency, and performance
Monitor quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety initiatives
Promote a positive, respectful, and team-centered workplace culture

What We Are Looking For:

Washington State RN license unencumbered
Strong perioperative/OR nursing background
Previous management or leadership experience
Ophthalmic surgery experience strongly preferred - willing to train
Knowledge of ASC operations, CMS regulations, infection prevention, and quality improvement
Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills
A leader who is professional, approachable, accountable, and willing to roll up their sleeves when needed
