We’re looking for a Cultivation Lead to oversee and operate our grow facility in Yankton, South Dakota. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and perfect for someone passionate about plant science and cannabis cultivation. You’ll lead daily grow operations, mentor team members, and ensure compliance and quality standards are consistently met — driving the production of premium flower that reflects the Roy’zzz lifestyle.

Manage daily cultivation activities including cloning, transplanting, feeding, pruning, and harvesting.

Oversee plant health throughout all growth stages and ensure consistency in yields and quality.

Monitor and adjust environmental systems (lighting, irrigation, humidity, temperature, CO2).

Lead and train cultivation staff to execute SOPs and maintain compliance.

Maintain detailed records, manage scheduling, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize production.

Manage and lead the dry cure process to ensure proper post-harvest handling and preservation of product quality.

Oversee and support trim operations, ensuring consistency and efficiency across the team.

Ensure strict compliance with all state and company cultivation regulations.

Manage inventory of supplies, nutrients, and harvested material to align with production goals.

Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for tracking, scheduling, and reporting.

Bachelor’s degree required.

1+ year of cannabis experience in cultivation, post-harvest, or related operations.

1+ year of management or supervisory experience leading a team.

Proven leadership experience in a grow environment.

Strong knowledge of plant biology, nutrient management, and pest control.

Must be 21+ and able to pass state background requirements.

Experience with METRC and environmental control systems is a plus.

Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Yankton, South Dakota.
