Full Job Description

Step into an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Working on site in a supportive school environment near Vaughan, MS, you’ll collaborate with passionate educators dedicated to student success. This contract position offers exposure to a diverse caseload, empowering you to expand your professional experience while providing vital speech and language services.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
Experience in a school setting, including IEP development and delivery of direct therapy
Strong communication and collaborative skills, with a knack for working alongside families and educational staff
Organizational skills for effective caseload management and data tracking

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
Document student progress and maintain necessary records in compliance with school and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support comprehensive student planning
Engage with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate carry-over strategies for classroom and home environments
