Account Manager, Conference & Trade Show
eye5 LLC, New York City's longest-operating experiential staffing agency, is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Conference & Trade Show team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading brands, travel to premier industry events across North America, and play a key role in bringing unforgettable live experiences to life.
We’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven professional with experience in event staffing, experiential marketing, client services, or a related field. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to anticipate client needs, solve problems quickly, prioritize competing demands, and keep projects moving forward in a fast-paced environment often under tight deadlines.
As an Account Manager, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to our clients, building trusted relationships, delivering exceptional experiences, and identifying opportunities to grow partnerships and revenue. You will collaborate closely with our Talent team and internal departments to deliver exceptional results. This role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment and the ability to identify opportunities for account growth and new business.

Roles & Responsibilities
Client Management
- Serve as the primary client contact, delivering exceptional service and managing ongoing account support.
- Build strong relationships with clients and talent while overseeing booking timelines, expectations, and project details.
- Develop long-term client partnerships through proactive communication, relationship building, and identifying future staffing opportunities.
- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve issues to ensure successful program execution.
- Expand client accounts by building relationships with key stakeholders, producers, and departments to uncover new opportunities.
- Take ownership of identifying and pursuing organic revenue growth opportunities within assigned accounts, including new projects, producers, departments, and service verticals.
- Confidently present eye5’s staffing solutions through client meetings, presentations, proposals, and pitch opportunities.
- Grow professional networks through client organizations, industry events, conferences, and platforms like LinkedIn.
- Re-engage dormant accounts through strategic outreach and relationship-driven business development.
Project Management
- Manage staffing and talent booking requests from initial inquiry through successful event completion utilizing the talent booking team.
- Coordinate all aspects of event staffing, including scheduling, communication, problem-solving, and execution.
- Meet all established staffing deadlines and maintain a 100% show rate across assigned projects
- Manage event-day execution, including staff check-ins/check-outs, replacements, troubleshooting, and escalation often onsite at the event.
- Maintain a reliable pool of on-call and back-up staff to quickly address cancellations or no-shows
- Collaborate with the Talent Department to source and secure qualified staff while continuously expanding and refreshing our network of conference Brand Ambassadors.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver successful staffing solutions and maintain high client satisfaction.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in account management, client services, experiential marketing, event staffing, or related fields.
- Experience managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong client communication and sales focused relationship management skills.
- Experience coordinating teams in live event environments.
- Proficiency with MacOS, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and project management tools

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance, retirement benefits, transit benefits, paid vacation, and company holidays.
Location, Travel & Work Hours: This position begins with a two-week training and team-building period in our Midtown South Manhattan office. Following training, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule consisting of three in-office days and two remote workdays per week, based on business needs.
Within our conference division, Account Managers will travel throughout the United States and Canada to support clients, talent, and on-site event execution. Due to the nature of the live events industry and our nationwide staffing model, Account Managers are also expected to conduct virtual or in-person event check-ins outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
