Full Job Description

Patient Care Coordinator

The best salespeople don’t make you feel like you’re being sold to. They listen, connect, build trust, and make the next step feel natural.

We are seeking an exceptional Patient Care Coordinator to join our premier practice in New York City.

Previous surgical experience is not required. We can teach procedures, terminology, systems, and processes. What we can’t teach - and need YOU to bring to the table - is the ability to connect with people, understand what matters to them, build genuine trust, communicate value, and confidently guide someone through an important personal decision.

Our approachis consultative, relationship-based, and never transactional. We are not looking for someone who uses scripts, pressure tactics, or aggressive closing techniques. We are looking for someone who understands that successful sales begin with listening.

The Person We’re Looking For Is

· Warm, polished, confident, and highly personable.

· Knows how to have a conversation rather than deliver a sales pitch. You listen carefully, ask good questions, pick up on subtle cues, and understand that different people need different things in order to feel comfortable moving forward.

· Comfortable discussing pricing and significant financial decisions without becoming uncomfortable or overly aggressive.

· Understands the importance of follow-up and know how to stay connected with someone without making them feel pressured.

· Genuinely enjoys taking care of people.

What You’ll Do

Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective surgical patients throughout the consultation and decision-making process
Build strong, trusting relationships and provide a highly personalized experience
Meet with patients following their consultation with the surgeon to discuss next steps
Clearly explain surgical fees, payment requirements, scheduling, and the overall process
Help patients navigate questions or concerns that may be preventing them from moving forward
Follow up thoughtfully with prospective patients who have not yet scheduled
Maintain ongoing communication without creating a high-pressure sales experience
Coordinate surgical dates and guide patients through the scheduling process
Maintain accurate documentation of consultations, follow-ups, and scheduling activity
Become highly knowledgeable about the practice, procedures, philosophy, and overall patient journey
Consistently represent the practice with warmth, discretion, professionalism, and exceptional service

· Exceptional background in relationship-based sales, luxury service, hospitality, client relations, or another high-touch environment.

· Strong candidates may come from:

o Luxury retail High-end hospitality Concierge services Aesthetic or beauty industries Luxury real estate Bridal Private clubs Membership sales High-end fitness/wellness Client relations Other relationship-driven sales environments

· Experience selling a luxury product or service where trust, relationship-building, discretion, and personalized attention are essential would be particularly valuable.

Success in this position is not simply answering questions or providing pricing. It is creating an experience where every prospective patient feels heard, understood, cared for, and confident in their decision.

The strongest Patient Care Coordinator will balance exceptional service with business awareness — understanding that caring for the patient and helping the practice grow are not competing priorities.

We are looking for someone who can develop into a trusted representative of the practice and take increasing ownership of the patient experience and surgical coordination process.

This position offers a competitive base salary, providing additional earning potential based on performance and results.

This is a full-time, in-person position in New York City.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
