Full Job Description

Powerstone Property Management, a growing community association management company in Orange County, is seeking a full time, experienced Banking Coordinator to work at its corporate headquarters in Irvine. Position Summary: Supports the Accounting Department in managing daily banking operations, cash management activities and client banking account administration.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Review, process and respond to all manager requests through the ticketing system
Support the management team with the opening, funding, updating of signature cards and the closing of bank accounts for management clients
Uploading of all client banking documents to Laserfiche
Prepare and analyze banking documents and ensure completeness
Work with banking partners to facilitate account openings, fundings, closures and resolve account issues
Ensure new accounts are set up properly in accounting platforms
Monitor cash activity for Associations as requested, ensure proper funding and investigate discrepancies
Maintain and update Excel for investment tracking, updating of signature cards, billing and reporting purposes
Verify outgoing funding deposits have the proper bank address and account number
Work with banking partners and internal teams to identify issues, suggest corrective procedures and implement solutions
Communicate with accountants, board members and property managers, and any other internal and external customers by answering any questions and responding to any banking inquiry or request
Scanning of monthly bank statements received for clients
Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred, and 1-2 years of related experience in banking, finance or operations; experience in multi-entity or shared services environment is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

Must be organized, very detail oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced environment
Must have exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external partners
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organization, problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work under stress, with interruptions, and meet all deadlines
Ability to process verbal information and input this information into computer system
Ability to follow complex instructions
Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

Job Type: Full-time
