The YGS Group is looking for an experienced IT Systems & Security Administrator who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, securing enterprise environments, and delivering exceptional technology support.
This is a hands-on technical position responsible for maintaining and protecting our enterprise infrastructure, including servers, cloud services, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity platforms, networking, virtualization, identity management, and business applications. You’ll work alongside an experienced IT team to ensure reliable, secure, and resilient technology operations across our organization.

What You’ll Do
As our IT Systems & Security Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Infrastructure Administration
- Administer Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, and enterprise cloud services.
- Configure and maintain identity management, Group Policy, MFA, Conditional Access, and access controls.
- Support virtualization, storage, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Maintain system documentation, inventories, and configuration records.
Cybersecurity
- Monitor and investigate security alerts.
- Support endpoint detection and response (EDR), email security, antivirus, and cloud security platforms.
- Participate in incident response and recovery activities.
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation and patch management.
- Assist with firewall, VPN, network security, and privileged access administration.
- Support phishing investigations and security awareness initiatives.
Networking & Cloud
- Support enterprise networking including switches, VLANs, wireless, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot connectivity across multiple business locations.
- Assist with Microsoft Azure administration and cloud resource management.
- Support Teams Phone, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and collaboration platforms.
Operations & Support
- Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues.
- Participate in infrastructure projects and technology implementations.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, software licensing, and purchasing records.
- Collaborate closely with vendors, managed service providers, and internal business teams.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and assist during critical outages or security incidents.

What We’re Looking For
Successful candidates will bring:
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Four or more years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration, network administration, infrastructure support, cybersecurity, or related technical roles
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Equivalent education, certifications, and relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Work at a computer for extended periods
- Occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Travel between company locations is needed.
- Respond to after-hours outages and security incidents.
- Safely inspect and install technology equipment.
