Full Job Description

Full Time (80 hours/pay period)

Days with on call responsibilities

General Summary

Supervises personnel and assists in managing the daily imaging operations. Provides imaging services. Performs duties as on call team leader and is able to train new staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluates, for effectiveness, all services rendered and makes recommendations regarding addition and deletion of service.
Develops and oversees departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals and objectives.
Maintains drug control for department, in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services.
Provides in service education for technologist and participates in instruction

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:

5 years 5 - 8 years Required and
Supervisory experience Required

Licenses:

Registered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - ARRT Upon Hire Required and
Registered Radiologist Assistant - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Bone Densitometry - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Breast Sonography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Cardiac Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Mammography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Quality Management - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Radiation Therapy - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Radiography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Sonography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
Registered Technologist-Vascular Interventional Radiology - ARRT Upon Hire Required or

Courses and Training:

Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in MR procedures Upon Hire Required
