Full Job Description

This is a Monday-Friday position, ranging from 30-40 hours per week.

This individual will join our Office Team at our York Location.

Job Overview:

We are a school transportation company that focuses on serving students with special needs. You are solely responsible for the recruiting and hiring of all drivers and aides for the York branch of Faithful Transportation.

The ideal candidate for the Recruiter role must be, primarily, a go getter! Someone who likes to take initiative and find creative ways to gain employees. This person must be an excellent communicator as you are the face of the organization between our office and employees. Organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are must-have skills for this role! You will assist Management in administrative tasks including but not limited to hiring, onboarding, scheduling, filing, transporting students, and more.

General Employee Expectations:

Responsible for recruiting and hiring all drivers and aides. Expectation is to on-board new hires in 3 days. This includes ensuring the company possess codes/etc. for fingerprinting and other clearance related necessities.
Ensure all employees maintain updated files (clearances, physicals, TB, training, etc.)
Communicate with Dispatch regarding drivers’ availability.
Maintain an active and engaging social media account for the company.
Discuss policies and/or handle discrepancies with employees when needed in chain of command
Assist management in administrative tasks as needed, including but not limited to: accounting, filing, inventory, reporting, etc. to ensure operational excellence of the depot
The ability and flexibility to be a back-up driver as need is required.

Possess a positive attitude and be respectful of all coworkers.
Adhere to your hours as scheduled, including team-effort on break(s) and lunch.
Proper use of company equipment.
Refrain from usage of personal cell phones and devices while on the clock.
Professional/business casual work attire that you are able to drive in if needed.

This is not a full scope of the position, but a broad overview of daily expectations.
