Job Overview

We’re on the lookout for an energetic and organized Event Coordinator to help plan, manage, and execute memorable events. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients and vendors to ensure every detail is covered, from initial planning to the final toast. If you love bringing people together and thrive in a dynamic setting, this could be your perfect fit!

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients (in-person, phone or email) to understand their event catering needs and develop tailored plans that meet their expectations.
Coordinate all aspects of catering logistics for on-site events, including equipment set up, food delivery, staffing, break down and cleanup as needed.
Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date event information, including event orders, timelines, contact information, and special instructions.
Lead a team of staff or vendors during events to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.
Act as the communication liaison between clients, catering staff, and restaurant management
Maintenance and timely reporting of all financial spreadsheets and documentation of catering sales results.
Maintain appropriate inventory of catering supplies, equipment and other supplies needed to execute flawless catering events.
Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients before, during, and after events.

Qualifications

Proven experience in event planning or management within the restaurant, customer service, hospitality or related industries preferred
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services effectively.
Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying calm under pressure.
Ability to work professionally in multiple environments, including in an office setting and on-site events.
Outstanding communication skills for client interaction and team leadership.
Professional in appearance and communication, both verbal and written, whether in person, over the phone, or via email communications.
Positivity! A positive attitude is an absolute, non-negotiable requirement.
