About S.E.T., Inc.
S.E.T., Inc. is a growing heavy civil contractor specializing in highway, bridge, and infrastructure construction across Ohio and surrounding states. As a $100M+ contractor, we are focused on disciplined growth, operational excellence, and building strong internal systems to support long-term expansion.
We are seeking a hands-on Construction Equipment & Fleet Manager to oversee field equipment logistics, fleet readiness, yard operations, and daily support for heavy civil and heavy highway construction crews across OH and surrounding states.

· Coordinate all equipment logistics, including trucking, scheduling, and jobsite deliveries.
· Develop full working knowledge of all company equipment—attachments, heavy equipment, trucks, tools, and support gear.
· Purchase consumables and small tools (PPE, blades, ladders, chains, slings, generators, marking paint, etc.) while securing the best pricing and vendors.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized equipment yard and warehouse.
· Receive, label, and store incoming project materials; organize returned jobsite materials.
· Prepare crew trucks and trailers daily with all required equipment and tools.
· Track and maintain specialized safety/support equipment (gas monitors, trench boxes, rotating lasers, pipe lasers, chain/sling certifications, PPE).
· Outfit new crew trucks with complete and accurate tool inventories.
· Coordinate with mechanics and the Shop Manager on equipment repairs, needs, and replacement recommendations.
· Supervise two yard/warehouse support staff.

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
· Self‑motivated with a positive, “get‑it‑done” mindset.
· Basic knowledge of construction, heavy equipment, or general contracting.
· Experience as a pipelayer, operator, laborer, or similar field role is a plus.
