Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist

Job description:
Genesis Medical Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist for our office located at: 188 Enclave Dr, New Castle PA 16105

If you're compassionate, organized, and enjoy working with patients in a fast-paced medical office, we'd love to hear from you!

The successful candidate must be skilled in phlebotomy, be able to work both clinical and administrative sides of office, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have excellent time management skills, and be able to multi-task.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant Certification
Phlebotomy Certification

In this role, you'll help create a positive experience for patients by welcoming them, preparing them for their visit, recording vital signs and medical information, and documenting everything accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Responsibilities include drawing blood, collecting and processing lab specimens, administering injections as directed, assisting with exams and procedures, performing basic in-office lab testing, coordinating referrals and follow-up appointments, completing wellness visits and educating patients.

The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, experience with an EHR system, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
