Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Hospice Community Liaison to serve as a vital link between our hospice services and the community. In this role, you will actively engage with healthcare providers, patients, families, and community organizations to promote awareness of hospice care options and facilitate seamless access to our services. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will drive meaningful relationships, ensuring that patients receive compassionate, timely support during their end-of-life journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a profound difference in people's lives while utilizing your sales expertise and community engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and community organizations to promote hospice services and increase referrals.
Conduct informative presentations and product demos to educate medical professionals about hospice care offerings and benefits.
Manage a designated territory by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing contacts, and expanding outreach efforts.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met through effective communication and service coordination.
Utilize CRM systems proficiently to track interactions, manage leads, and analyze referral patterns for continuous improvement.
Lead negotiations with healthcare facilities and referral sources to secure partnerships that support patient access to hospice care.
Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, and professional conferences to raise awareness of hospice services and foster community trust.

Qualifications

Proven experience in outside sales, account management, or B2B sales within healthcare or medical fields; experience in scientific/medical equipment technical sales is a plus.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive client relationships.
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to deliver compelling product demos and presentations.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on customer relationship building and territory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems for data analysis and client tracking.
Field sales experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales preferred; familiarity with enterprise selling strategies is advantageous.
Organizational skills that enable efficient management of multiple accounts, meetings, and outreach activities simultaneously.
Ability to meet or exceed sales goals through strategic planning, proactive engagement, and persistent follow-up.
