Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Accounting Manager to support senior leadership in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and can balance strategic financial oversight with day-to-day operational responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, process improvement and cross-functional operational support while serving as a trusted resource to internal

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Support budgeting process and perform regular variance analysis to identify operational trends and opportunities
Manage the general ledger, complete account reconciliations and support month-end close activities
Assist with projects aimed at improving internal workflows and financial system efficiencies
Serve as primary point of contact for internal personnel, providing overall support and recommendations for process improvements
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
Capability to pivot between detailed bookkeeping and higher-level financial strategy
Collaborate directly with the outsourced CPA firm to support tax return preparation, audits, and interim tax related matters
Provide support for payroll functions
Strong knowledge in all banking-related functions
Manage and shop company insurance-General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers Comp.
Willingness to undertake other duties as assigned or identified

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
Strong background in manufacturing
Extensive experience in corporate accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Advanced knowledge with accounting software's including QuickBooks, as well as Microsoft excel
Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working cross-functionally with leadership and staff at all levels
Sound judgement and decision making
Creativity on design and layouts of work documents and spreadsheets
