Swimming Pool Service Technician
As a Service Technician, you'll help install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial swimming pool systems. Every day is different, offering new challenges and opportunities to build valuable mechanical and technical skills.
Ideal Qualifications
Experience with swimming pools is a plus—but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
We're especially interested in candidates with experience or interest in:
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Electrical work
- Mechanical repair
- Concrete or masonry
- Welding
- Painting
A strong mechanical aptitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn are often more important than previous pool experience.
Summer Laborers
We're also hiring dependable Summer Laborers with the opportunity to transition into full-time employment for successful candidates.
No pool experience is necessary. If you're reliable, enjoy physical work, and are eager to learn, we'll provide the training you need.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine swimming pool maintenance and cleaning
- Test and balance pool water chemistry
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing, and other pool equipment
- Assist with installation of filtration, circulation, and heating systems
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with customers
- Complete daily service reports and submit required paperwork
- Turn in receipts for fuel and supplies daily
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
