Full Job Description

Company:

Bassett & Associates, P.A. is a full-service accounting firm. Our firm is experiencing exponential growth and we need to add to our team to accommodate.

As a FAD Manager of Bassett & Associates, P.A. you will provide an array of accounting services to a variety of north American mid-sized companies. You will oversee the bookkeeping department, review all financial statements, and implement processes to drive efficiency. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated and motivated CPA.

JOB Functions:

* Oversee all Reviews, Compilations and AUPs.

* Must be proficient in WIP schedules and percentage completion for Construction Contractors

* Review monthly bookkeeping and monthly financial snapshot for 50+ clients

* Ensure compliance with SSARS and monitor quality control for all engagements. Prepare firm for peer review every 3 years.

* Perform QuickBooks consults for some of the more advanced clients.

* Be involved in onboarding all new bookkeeping and financial statement clients.

* Constant client contact both proactively and as needed.

* Managing Direct reports

* Improving financial statement and bookkeeping processes and workflow

* Research accounting technology/ AI Tools and make recommendations to save time and improve profitability. Implement any approved recommendations.

* Be available for training and mentoring other team members

Additional Information:

Minimum of 2 years' experience with a public accounting firm; 2 years' manager/supervisor experience in public accounting; GAAP; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft applications; embraces AI technology; successful track record of managing deadlines, client correspondence and communication. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Pay: $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
