Southeast Michigan Multi-Location Private Optometric Practice

A well-established Southeast Michigan multi-location private optometric practice is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Optometrist to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who values clinical excellence, personalized patient care, and the opportunity to practice in a professional, independent environment. Our practice provides comprehensive primary and medical eye care and utilizes advanced diagnostic technology to deliver thorough, individualized care to patients of all ages.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will enjoy practicing comprehensive optometry while developing long-term relationships with patients. Our doctors provide a broad range of services, including routine eye examinations, medical eye care, contact lens services, pediatric eye care, ocular disease management, and premium spectacle and progressive lens prescribing.

The practice utilizes modern diagnostic technology, including advanced retinal imaging and OCT, allowing our doctors to provide detailed examinations and appropriately diagnose, monitor, and manage a wide range of ocular conditions.

Both full-time and part-time schedules will be considered, providing flexibility for candidates with different professional and personal needs.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive eye examinations
Diagnose and manage ocular disease
Provide medical eye care and treatment
Perform contact lens evaluations and fittings
Manage patients with glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, and other ocular conditions
Utilize advanced diagnostic technology, including retinal imaging and OCT
Co-manage surgical and medical patients when appropriate
Provide pediatric and family eye care
Educate patients regarding ocular health and treatment recommendations
Prescribe and fit premium spectacle lenses and contact lenses
Develop strong, long-term relationships with patients

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an optometrist who is:

Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
Clinically confident and thorough
Passionate about providing exceptional patient care
Comfortable managing both routine and medical eye care
An excellent communicator
Professional, personable, and dependable
Interested in practicing in an independent private-practice environment
Committed to continued professional development
