Full Job Description

Corporate Trainer

Location: Remote

Schedule: Full-Time | Must be available during Eastern Time business hours

Summary

Join F.H. Cann & Associates (FHC), a family-owned company delivering service excellence since 1999. We are seeking an experienced and engaging Corporate Trainer to help develop and empower employees across the organization through impactful training programs and learning initiatives.

This role is ideal for a training professional with 4-5+ years of corporate training experience who is passionate about adult learning, employee development, and creating an engaging learning environment.

What You'll Do

Partner with managers to identify training needs and develop training plans
Design, develop, and deliver effective training programs
Create engaging training materials, presentations, guides, and SharePoint content
Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions
Support onboarding and mentor new employees
Track attendance, training completion, and employee progress
Evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Monitor employee performance and training outcomes
Maintain accurate training records and documentation
Participate in client meetings, training sessions, and special projects as needed

Qualifications

Required

4-5+ years of corporate training, learning & development, and employee training experience
Strong presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills
Experience creating training materials and learning content
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint

Preferred

Call center, collections, or contact center experience
Experience with e-learning platforms and learning management systems (LMS)
Professional training certifications such as CPTD, CPLP, or similar

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Finance, or a related field preferred

Remote Work Requirements

Reliable high-speed internet with minimum 25 Mbps upload and download speeds
Hard-wired ethernet connection required
Dedicated, private, distraction-free workspace
Ability to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours
Compliance with all company telecommuting policies

Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements

Must have the ability to pass federal background screening and potential security clearance.
