JOB SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant will provide daily clerical and administrative support services for the inside/outside Civil Construction department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A working knowledge of general office procedures at a level normally acquired through one year of experience in an office setting; and
High School diploma or equivalent

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner.
Experienced in the use of various Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer field calls from Superintendents.
Update Excel spreadsheets and Access worksheets daily.
Log and process new work orders for SCE.
Maintain the project master worksheet and other electronic files for Civil customers.
Gather and review all necessary backup documentation for completed projects.
Follow up with the field Superintendent/Project Coor on billing for completed projects that have not been fully billed.
Prepare and submit billing to Civil customers through the assigned website.
Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budgets, etc.) per supervisor’s authorization.
Submit daily crew lists to SCE.
Process monthly and quarterly accruals.
Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Wage range: $20 - 30/hour.
