Ram Risk Group is a Florida-based independent insurance agency specializing in complex commercial property & casualty. We work on sophisticated accounts — developers, contractors, OCIPs — and we hold ourselves to the standards of the largest brokerages in the country.

The Opportunity

This is a senior production role for an experienced commercial insurance professional who wants more — more challenge, more growth, more impact, and more earning potential. You will own complex accounts, lead client relationships at the executive level, and help set the standard for how this agency operates.

This is not a cold outreach or prospecting role. Our agent team generates the deals. Your job is to come in at the highest level — structure the coverage, negotiate the markets, close the business, and earn your commission on everything you touch. The deals are large: major developer programs, complex contractor accounts, significant commercial property placements. If you are a high-level closer who wants to focus entirely on doing the work and getting paid for it — this is that role.

This is not a comfortable role. It is a demanding one. You will have the markets, the team, and the operational support to succeed at a high level — but you have to want to operate at that level every day. If you are looking for a slow pace, a light workload, or a place to coast, do not apply.

What You'll Do

Develop, manage, and grow a book of complex commercial accounts — developers, contractors, and construction-related risks
Design and negotiate sophisticated risk management programs including OCIPs, CCIPs, high-limit CGL, and commercial auto
Lead client-facing meetings and presentations at the executive level with full command and professionalism
Build, negotiate, and manage carrier and wholesale market relationships to deliver creative, competitive solutions
Co-close deals alongside our agent producers — you bring the technical depth, they bring the relationship
Mentor and elevate junior Account Executives and agent producers — set and model the technical and professional standard
Own your pipeline from prospect to bind to renewal — organized, proactive, and buttoned up
Take the extra step, every time — for clients, for the team, and for the standard this agency holds

What We're Looking For

8+ years of commercial insurance production experience
Background from a large, reputable agency or brokerage — you know what a high standard looks like and you hold yourself to it
Deep expertise in Developers, OCIP/CCIP, Contractors, Commercial Liability, and Commercial Auto
Proven ability to negotiate with markets and structure complex risk management packages
Strong existing carrier and wholesale broker experience
Florida 2-20 license (or equivalent P&C license) — required
Exceptionally organized, proactive, and self-driven — operates without hand-holding
Outgoing, polished, and relationship-oriented by nature
Motivated by growth, challenge, and the pursuit of excellence — not comfort or routine
Comfortable mentoring others and raising the level of the team
