Military Evaluation Services (MES) is hiring a part-time 1099 PSYCHIATRIST, PHYSIATRIST, or NEUROLOGIST to perform in-person interviews for America’s Veterans and Service Members as part of the Veterans Benefits Administration's (VBA) disability claims process also called Compensation and Pension exams.
The PSYCHIATRIST, PHYSIATRIST, or NEUROLOGIST will conduct an interview, review the Veteran's records, type the responses in a portal, and add a medical opinion (if requested). This process provides the support that allows the VBA to determine service-connection status and rating (monetary disbursement).
The ideal PSYCHIATRIST, PHYSIATRIST, or NEUROLOGIST would be available at least a half day to 1 full day per week (with availability for 3 to 6 visits per day).
There is no treatment, no on-call responsibilities, no scheduling, and no billing necessary on your behalf.

WE COVER LIABILITY INSURANCE if you are not using your own business office.

2 years physician experience required.
Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
MD or DO degree from a regional-accredited university at the time of graduation.
Current and unrestricted Florida practitioner's license with no pending criminal case.
Complete credentialing applications with additional documents submitted within 48 business hours.
Complete required 15-16 hours of VBA video module training plus agency training within 1 wk = $400, within 2 wks = $250, within 3 wks = $100, after 3 weeks $0.
Other requirements established by the credentialing and hiring agencies that meet company, local, state, and federal standards or policies.
