Full Job Description

Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Tech needed for a travel assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. Start date 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,643–$2,861 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36. Shift: 3x12 rotating. Setting: clinic. This role focuses on CT imaging with occasional X-ray duties performed in a clinical environment, with minimal call and limited weekend requirements.

Contract duration: 13 weeks
Shift pattern: 3x12 rotating (9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.)
Start date: 08/31/2026
Work setting: clinic-based radiology service
Weekend/call: Every 5th weekend (6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.); minimal call about once every 7 weeks
RTO policy: significant time off requests not supported

Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures per department protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
Operate CT scanners and perform associated X-ray exams as needed
Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort
Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and ALARA principles; monitor and adjust CT dose as appropriate
Document studies and patient information in the Epic EMR; verify and transmit images for interpretation
Collaborate with technologists and radiologists to meet exam requirements; respond to equipment alarms and troubleshoot basic issues

Requirements

ARRT registration/certification in CT (CT specialty)
State of Ohio radiology license
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
CT and X-ray imaging experience in a clinical setting
Experience with Siemens CT and Epic EMR required; GE CT/X-ray experience preferred
Ability to work 3x12 hour shifts, including every 5th weekend and potential holidays; minimal scheduled call
Proficiency in imaging protocols, patient positioning, and safety practices in a clinic environment

Education

Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT CT certification and Ohio radiology licensure as prerequisites
