Quality Manager

Annual Salary: $96,000 – $120,000, based on experience and qualifications

Job Summary

EVFMX USA is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to establish, manage, and continuously improve the quality management system for our electric golf cart and low-speed vehicle assembly operations.

The Quality Manager will oversee incoming inspection, in-process quality control, final vehicle inspection, supplier quality, corrective actions, warranty-related quality analysis, and continuous improvement. This position will work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Warehouse, and After-Sales Service teams to ensure every vehicle meets company specifications, safety requirements, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for golf cart and LSV assembly operations.

2. Establish inspection standards, quality procedures, work instructions, checklists, and acceptance criteria.

3. Manage incoming material inspection, in-process inspection, final vehicle inspection, and pre-delivery inspection.

4.Ensure proper inspection of batteries, motors, controllers, chargers, wiring systems, brakes, steering, suspension, tires, lighting, and other vehicle components.

5. Identify product defects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

6. Monitor production quality, first-pass yield, rework, scrap, warranty claims, and customer complaints.

7. Lead supplier quality evaluations and resolve component quality issues with Purchasing and suppliers.

8. Manage nonconforming materials and ensure proper documentation, segregation, disposition, and follow-up.

9. Conduct internal quality audits and support regulatory,

customer, and supplier audits.

10. Train production employees and inspectors on quality standards and inspection procedures.

11. Develop and report quality KPIs to senior management.

12. Support new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor ’ s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

2. 5+ years of quality management experience in automotive, electric vehicles, golf carts, powersports, or manufacturing.

3. 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

4. Strong knowledge of quality inspection, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement.

5. Experience with quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, and SPC.

6. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or automotive quality systems is preferred.

7. Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, inspection standards, and work instructions.

8. Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and

documentation skills.

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality or ERP systems.

2. Bilingual English and Chinese is a plus.
