Full Job Description

Eyes on Wesley Chapel – A Radiant Vision Experts Practice

Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences while helping our practice operate efficiently.

This is not a traditional front desk position. The ideal candidate will become the operational hub of our office—guiding patients from the moment they walk in, assisting with preliminary testing, coordinating schedules, supporting the doctor and optical team, and helping ensure the practice runs smoothly each day.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and continuously improving systems.

Availability Requirements

This position requires a consistent weekly schedule. Applicants must be available to work the following days:

Monday
Wednesday
Friday
Saturday

ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience

Welcome every patient with warmth and professionalism
Create a luxury, concierge-level patient experience
Check patients in and out efficiently
Answer incoming phone calls with confidence and empathy
Schedule appointments while maximizing provider productivity
Confirm appointments and minimize no-shows
Respond promptly to text messages, emails, and patient inquiries

Clinical Support

Perform pre-testing and diagnostic workups
Operate imaging equipment (Optos, autorefractor, etc.)
Accurately document patient information
Prepare patients for the doctor
Maintain smooth patient flow throughout the office

(No prior experience required—we will train the right candidate.)

Office Operations

Monitor daily schedule for gaps and opportunities
Help coordinate staff workflow throughout the day
Ensure patients move efficiently through the office
Assist with recalls and patient follow-up
Track incomplete orders and outstanding tasks
Help maintain office organization and cleanliness
Assist with inventory and office supplies
Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements

Leadership Expectations

This position is expected to take ownership—not simply complete assigned tasks.
