Full Job Description

Our client is InSearch for a hands-on Accountant / Controller to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The Controller will work closely with the owner of this Omaha based $10-$20 million company as you play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. 30 hours per week and flexible on schedule!

Responsibilities

Input journal entries
Prepare financial statements
Monthly bank reconciliations
Process payroll
Reconcile accounts receivable and payable
Record monthly depreciation, tax, and specialty accruals.
Process monthly payroll deposits to various taxing authorities
Prepare and file quarterly payroll reports.
Prepare and file annual payroll reports including all 1099s and W-2s.
Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual sale/use tax returns.
Financial analysis - special project reporting

Qualifications

3-5 years of financial roll-up experience required
Experience in construction or manufacturing preferred
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
