As we continue to grow, we are seeking dependable, detail-oriented CNC Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team on the2nd shift.
No spring manufacturing experience? No problem. We provide paid, hands-on training for motivated individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Job Description:
The CNC Machine Operator safely produces high-quality precision springs and wireforms using modern CNC manufacturing equipment. Operators are expected to monitor production, verify part quality through dimensional inspection, identify process issues before they become problems, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing quality work safely and consistently. The most successful operators take ownership of their work, verify what they produce, recognize when something isn’t right, and understand that quality and safety always come before speed. Paid, hands-on training is provided to help qualified candidates develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
Second-shift operators play an important role in maintaining production momentum into the evening while ensuring the same high standards of quality our customers expect each and every day. By producing quality parts, identifying potential issues early, and supporting a smooth transition between shifts, they help keep our manufacturing operation running efficiently and reliably.
Primary Responsibilities Include (But are not limited to):
· Operate modern CNC spring and wireform manufacturing equipment
· Monitor machine performance and production quality throughout the shift
· Perform first-piece, in-process, and final dimensional inspections
· Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, protractors, height gauges, and other instruments
· Read and follow work instructions, setup documentation, inspection requirements, and engineering drawings
· Identify quality concerns and promptly notify supervision when issues arise. Act as part of a team.
· Perform routine machine adjustments as trained
· Maintain accurate production and quality records
· Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
· Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the production process

o Calipers

o Height Gauges
o Go/No-Go Gauges
· Ability to recognize when measurements are outside of specification
· Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices
· Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
“Nice to Haves”
· Previous CNC manufacturing experience
· Experience operating spring, wireform, or weld fixture equipment
· Experience reading engineering drawings or blueprints
· Experience performing dimensional inspections
· Automotive manufacturing experience
· Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
· Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds
· Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
· Ability to distinguish small dimensional differences and inspect precision parts
· Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks while maintaining company quality standards

Position:
· Full-Time, Hourly Pay (Immediate Openings)
· 2rd Shift (standard hours are 3:00pm – 11:30pm)
· Must have a valid state driver’s license
· On-site; Spring Grove, IL. (Please do not apply unless able to commute)
