Full Job Description

McCormick Barstow LLP seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.

Requirements:

Paralegal certificate;
Litigation experience (minimum 3 years of experience, Business and Commercial litigation preferred); and
A firm understanding of Civil Procedure and Rules of Court in State and Federal courts.

Qualities:

Deadline and detail-oriented.
Case management and trial preparation skills;
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills;
Communicate with clients to obtain documents and information;
Organize and utilize document databases;
Ability to use various e-discovery and legal research tools;
Prepare document requests and subpoenas;
Ability to bill 6.5 hours per day;
Ability to work independently and as a member of a practice group team with multiple partners;
Pleasant, cooperative and professional demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
