Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Homemaker / Caregiver Support person to provide essential support and assistance in a residential setting. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough residential housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organizing to maintain a spotless living space
- Manage household chores such as laundry, ironing, basic meal prep, and shopping to support daily routines
- Evaluate and react appropriately to each senior
- Complete orientation and on-going training as directed
- Maintain confidentiality
- Communicate and work with the seniors in a respectful manner
- Complete all assigned tasks while staying within the care plan time limit
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in caregiving or homemaking roles with demonstrated skills in senior or disabled care and household management
- Hands-on experience with cleaning techniques, laundry processes, cooking basic meals, and maintaining an organized home environment
- Customer service skills that ensure positive interactions with family members or guests
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
