As a PCA Caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being during morning shifts. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with care plans and dietary needs
- Support residents with medication reminders and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to foster emotional well-being
- Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet each resident’s unique needs
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a caregiver in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- PCA/CNA Certificate, TB Test, No Barrier Crimes
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and assist residents with mobility using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer’s), autism, or memory care needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and family members
- A compassionate attitude combined with the motivation to provide exceptional patient-centered care

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
