Job Summary: ***$500.00 Signing bonus after 3 months***Are you tired of working for a boring company with 20 layers of management? As a Service Technician specializing in vending machines and coffee products at Hermco 1, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our equipment across various locations. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on vending machines, coffee machines, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Duties:1. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on vending machines and coffee equipment to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
2. Perform repairs and replacements of malfunctioning components, including but not limited to coin mechanisms, bill validators, motors, sensors, and brewing systems.
3. Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to schedule to minimize downtime and prevent equipment failures.
4. Troubleshoot technical problems efficiently and effectively, utilizing diagnostic tools and technical manuals as needed.
5. Respond promptly to service calls and prioritize tasks to meet service level agreements and customer expectations.
6. Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
7. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
8. Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize service delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.
9. Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to continually improve technical skills and knowledge.
10. Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
11. Applicant will be around heavy equipment (Vending Machines). Applicant must be able to operate and run a forklift, pallet jack, truck lift gate, and understand basic securing and tie down principles. Training can be provided, but the applicant must have a willingness to learn and ability to do so.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electronics, mechanics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in servicing and repairing vending machines, coffee equipment, or similar automated systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to understand equipment operation and repair procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in workmanship and documentation.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willingness to travel to various locations as required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as needed.
