Full Job Description

For more than 20 years, AlloSource’s allografts have been the biologic solutions our surgeon customers use to deliver better care to their patients. As one of the largest and most respected nonprofit tissue banks in the United States, AlloSource develops, processes and distributes over 200 types of life-saving and life-enhancing allografts for use in a variety of medical procedures. Summary:

The Tissue Processing Technician works in a Controlled Work Area (CWA) and is responsible for:

CS (Central Services)
- Decontaminating, cleaning, and sterilizing reusable equipment and supplies that are utilized in Production.
Tissue Processing
- Safely and aseptically processing human tissue and cell products according to applicable SOPs, WIs, and product specifications.
- Depending on the product/process, the Tissue Processing Technician may utilize various tools, equipment, machinery, and chemicals.

Application Anticipated Deadline: July 20, 2026

Pay: $24.50

Shift Differential: $22/hr plus $2.50/hr shift differential for the weekend shift

Shift: Friday-Sunday; 6:00am - 6:30pm (3 days onsite)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to aseptic technique and processing practices per applicable standards.
Interpret applicable product specifications and perform tasks according to established procedures and company expectations.
Complete accurate processing records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current Standard Operating Procedures/work instructions, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.
On a rotating schedule this position will work on company observed holidays.
Overtime and call-in work will be determined as needed.
May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of general work experience
Ability to read and comprehend detailed procedures, written and verbal instruction in English
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
AATB and/or CTBS certification
Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution (CSPD)
Experience performing aseptic technique and in medical or laboratory environment
Previous FDA and/or Tissue Banking experience
Previous tissue/cell processing or Central Supply experience
