Full Job Description

A position is available for a Postdoctoral Fellow to study the functional roles and mechanisms of cAMP/Epac-mediated cell signaling in the development of human diseases using pharmacological and genomic approaches. The candidate preferably should have demonstrated experience in cell signaling, molecular biology, and animal research. Expertise with microfluidics, organoids/organ-on-chip, single-cell epigenomics, and computational skills are preferred. The candidate must be highly motivated, able to work independently, capable of designing experimental protocols, analyzing data, writing protocols and manuscripts, and performing given investigations.

Additional Position Accountabilities:
Plan and conduct experiments, analyze data, and prepare publications describing results.
Assists in training and mentoring lab personnel, including graduate students.
Reads and evaluates literature.
Strong written and oral communication.
Willing to submit career development award applications.

Preferred qualifications:

A recent PhD or equivalent in a related scientific field.
Highly self-motivated and collaborative, quick learners.
Strong computational and bioinformatics skills.
Experience in one or more of the following will be an added advantage: microfluidics, organoids/organ-on-chip, single-cell multi-omics.
Grant writing and application experience.

Position Summary:

A biomedical postdoc position provides an opportunity for early-career researchers to gain valuable experience, develop independent research skills, and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in their field of expertise.

Position Key Accountabilities:
