Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support inventory operations within our CNC manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing inventory processes, and supporting efficient production and order fulfillment activities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite (Oracle ERP), strong spreadsheet proficiency, and a solid understanding of inventory control within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations using NetSuite ERP and spreadsheet-based tracking tools.
Monitor inventory movements and stock levels to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
Perform cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.
Utilize NetSuite, spreadsheets, and warehouse management tools to track inventory transactions and optimize storage processes.
Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and fulfillment teams to support timely production and order processing.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages and excess stock.
Analyze inventory data and generate reports using spreadsheets and reporting tools to support operational and management decisions.
Develop and improve inventory control procedures to reduce waste, errors, and inefficiencies.
Ensure inventory practices comply with company policies and supply chain objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience in inventory management, materials management, or supply chain operations.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite (Oracle ERP) strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse operations, and manufacturing workflows.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, filtering, and inventory reporting.
Experience conducting cycle counts and inventory audits.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
