Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health and social services. In this engaging position, you will assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy across diverse settings. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and social challenges, fostering resilience and recovery. Duties

Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and patient histories, utilizing medical terminology and adhering to HIPAA confidentiality policies.
Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during urgent situations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, including case management, medical social work, and psychiatric care.
Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of clinical notes, medical records, treatment progress, and compliance with clinical documentation standards.
Engage in clinical research activities such as data collection and analysis to support program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide specialized care for populations with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer’s disease, geriatrics, PTSD, addiction issues, or working within pediatric or special education contexts.
Maintain ongoing professional development by staying current with ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding standards, ICD coding updates, and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Experience

Proven experience working with children and adolescents in clinical or community settings; familiarity with child & family counseling is essential.
Demonstrated ability to deliver psychotherapy across various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health interventions.
Experience working within hospital environments or home & community care settings is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric patient care and mental health conditions such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Alzheimer’s disease, or disabilities.
Skilled in crisis management techniques and providing trauma-informed care for diverse populations.
Familiarity with EMR systems like EMR/EHR platforms for documentation; understanding of HIPAA regulations governing patient confidentiality is required.
Background in research activities involving data collection and analysis to support evidence-based practice improvements.
Ability to perform intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations using ICD/ICD-10/ICD coding standards, and treatment planning aligned with clinical research protocols.
