Sales Representative / Business Development Representative

What You Will Do

In this role, you will drive business growth by developing long-term relationships with customers throughout the life science community. You'll work closely with research laboratories, universities, biotech companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, hospitals, and healthcare organizations to understand their laboratory needs and provide innovative product solutions.

As part of a growing organization, you'll have the opportunity to directly influence the company's success while building your own professional career.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and healthcare customers.
Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified sales leads.
Promote Boston BioSupplies' portfolio of laboratory consumables, reagents, laboratory instruments, chemicals, and scientific equipment.
Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and successfully close sales opportunities.
Provide outstanding customer service and build long-term customer partnerships.
Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities using CRM tools.
Stay informed about laboratory technologies, market trends, and competitor activities.
Represent Boston BioSupplies at scientific conferences, exhibitions, and customer meetings when appropriate.

What We Expect Of You

We are looking for professionals who enjoy building relationships, solving customer challenges, and growing alongside a dynamic life science company.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related life science field.
Previous experience in scientific sales, laboratory products, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries.
Knowledge of laboratory research workflows and scientific products.
Experience working with universities, hospitals, research institutes, or biotechnology companies.
CRM experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for customer visits.
