Certified Medication Technician (CMT)- PRN & Part-Time Weekend Opportunities

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented professionals to join our community as Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs).

Available PositionsPRN (As Needed)
PRN team members are expected to routinely provide monthly availability and maintain a minimum scheduling commitment of:
- Availability for at least two (2) weekend days each month
- Availability for at least one (1) weekday each month
- Availability may be provided for any of the following shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Part-Time Weekend Positions
We are also hiring team members interested in working a consistent weekend schedule. Available rotations include:
- Friday – Saturday
- Saturday – Sunday
- Sunday – Monday
Weekend employees may work one or more of the following shifts based on community need:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Reliable attendance and commitment to your selected weekend schedule are expected.
While this posting is primarily for PRN and Part-Time Weekend positions, team members demonstrating strong performance and reliability may be considered for future Full-Time opportunities as they become available. Employees accepting a Full-Time position may become eligible for company-sponsored insurance and benefit offerings in accordance with company policy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and company policies.
- Accurately document medication administration, treatments, observations, and resident responses in the electronic medical record.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the nurse and interdisciplinary team.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed and provide support during meals, activities, and resident engagement opportunities.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency pendants, ensuring residents receive timely assistance.
- Maintain medication carts, medication rooms, and supplies in an organized, secure, and survey-ready condition.
- Promote a culture of hospitality, dignity, and respect while fostering meaningful relationships with residents and families.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current South Carolina Medication Technician certification and be in good standing.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, long-term care, or home health is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Must be dependable, flexible, and prepared to work assigned shifts based on community needs.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
