Bulla Gastrobar is seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team in Aventura, FL.
Bulla is a vibrant Spanish-inspired restaurant known for bold flavors, a scratch kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere. As Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role in supporting daily kitchen operations, developing the culinary team, and ensuring consistent execution of our menu and standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Ensure consistent execution of recipes, food quality, and presentation standards
- Train, mentor, and develop line cooks and prep team members
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization standards
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and product receiving
- Monitor and support food cost and labor goals
- Lead by example during prep and service, working any station when needed
- Foster a positive, professional kitchen culture focused on teamwork and accountability
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of kitchen leadership experience
- Experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen systems, and inventory management
- Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
