Full Job Description

Carient Heart and Vascular is a leading cardiovascular group of 19 Cardiologists, 2 Vascular/Endovascular Surgeons, and 18 mid-level providers in Northern Virginia. We value professional growth, quality colleagues, in a well-established successful group practice; dedicated to providing our patients with the highest level of care. We are looking for a friendly, professional, and driven Manager of Nuclear Department to join our patient focused team of professionals at our cardiovascular practice in Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Oversee daily operations of the Nuclear department, including patient flow, scheduling coordination, and room utilization
Ensure timely and efficient completion of nuclear studies
Identify and resolve operational issues impacting patient care or workflow
Manage staffing schedules, coverage, and PTO coordination
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., NRC, state regulations, IAC)
Maintain radiation safety standards and documentation
Oversee nuclear equipment maintenance and service coordination
Monitor inventory levels and control costs
Participate in process improvement initiatives and workflow standardization

Qualifications:

Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-N)
Minimum 2 years experience in nuclear cardiology or nuclear medicine
Prior leadership, supervisory, or charge experience preferred
Strong knowledge of nuclear imaging protocols, radiation safety, and regulatory requirements
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience with accreditation processes (IAC, ACR) preferred

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
