This position will be filled as a Lakes & Property Coordinator I, II, III, or Sr. based upon the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.

Job Purpose
As a Lakes & Property Coordinator, you'll play a key role in helping protect and manage the shoreline and lakefront properties surrounding Lakes Hamilton and Catherine. You'll review and process shoreline permits for new construction, modifications, and property transfers while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Entergy's shoreline management guidelines. In this role, you'll work closely with property owners, contractors, and community stakeholders to support the safe, responsible, and sustainable use of these valuable natural resources.
Responsibilities
- Manage Entergy-owned properties associated with Lakes Hamilton & Catherine and Carpenter & Remmel Dams, including leases, property rights, permit compliance, and encroachment resolution.
- Conduct field inspections by land and water to identify public safety concerns, unauthorized activities, and shoreline permit violations.
- Maintain and utilize GIS (ESRI) tools and shoreline permit databases to support property and permit management.
- Partner with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with environmental, public safety, recreation, and historic preservation requirements.
- Serve as a key point of contact for property owners, Realtors, title companies, contractors, and the public regarding shoreline permits and lake-related inquiries.
- Oversee contractors and maintenance activities for Entergy-owned parks, shoreline areas, and related facilities.
- Support public safety initiatives, emergency response activities, community outreach events, and public communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve shoreline management processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Lakes & Property Coordinator I
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 0–2 years of related experience.
Lakes & Property Coordinator II–III
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Natural Resources, Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2–6 years of related experience.
Lakes & Property Coordinator Sr
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- 6+ years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the public or in a customer-facing role.
- Regulatory compliance experience.
- GIS experience, preferably ESRI.
- Knowledge of land management principles and title research.
- Experience managing contractors.
Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both office and field environments.
Certifications
- Boater Education Certificate (preferred).
