Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor to join our team. The Care Manager Intern Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of care managers by providing supervision, mentorship, and support to interns. By fulfilling responsibilities with expertise, professionalism, and dedication to education, supervisors contribute to the ongoing improvement of care management practices and the delivery of high-quality services to individuals and communities. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with diverse needs, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

-Act as field instructor for Social Work interns including meeting all requirements as outlined by each higher education entity.

-Ensure that social work interns are meeting all duties and responsibilities of a school Social Worker Case Management Intern.

-Conduct weekly supervision with all assigned (3 - 5) Social Worker Interns

-Evaluate the intern's patient caseload progress towards goal attainment on a designated basis in line with individual treatment and discharge plan goals.

-Assess strengths and level of functioning of children and families and determine necessary service needs and treatment strategies using sound, objective decision-making in collaboration with the student intern.

-Review and approve intern's patient caseload Plan of Care that includes participation by child/youth, parents/guardians in the identification of strengths, service needs, and discharge plan.

-Review and approve intern's patient caseload Biopsychosocial Assessment that includes the child/youth service needs and appropriateness assessments

-Assure that interns provide services in accordance and consistent with the state policies' service provisions

-Review and approve Intern's submitted weekly Progress Reports within the defined timelines

-Provide and complete student school evaluations within the defined timelines

-Develop effective performance improvement plans in collaboration with school liaison for students based on knowledge and understanding of student’s behavior and learning styles

-Track and approve student intern's clock hours

-Serve as an advocate for the students.

-Adheres to laws and procedures involving child abuse/neglect.

-Serve as a professional resource for Education Coordinator, Supervisors, and Director who may seek counsel for advice/suggestions of Social Work Intern Program improvement

-Assist as need with any other duties within the scope of practice of the Social Worker.

Experience:

-Master’s Degree from accredited university in social work.

-Licensed as a LCSW or LMSW with the ability to provide clinical supervision involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

-SIFI Certified

-Ability to overcome barriers and conflict resolution

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

-Flexible and Adaptable

-Able to work cooperatively with others in a team.

-Creative and Innovative

- Ability to effectively express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
