We are looking for a 3rd Shift Production Manager to join our team. Our leadership team plays a crucial role in leading and developing team members as well as ensuring work processes, systems and machines are performing at high levels and running efficiently.
What You Will Do:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead a team of approximately 15 team members by providing daily direction, coaching, accountability, and support to ensure a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
- Monitor workflow, address production challenges, remove obstacles, and ensure departmental goals are met.
- Develop team member capabilities through ongoing coaching, training, cross-training, recognition, and performance feedback.
Operational Leadership
- Drive department performance by tracking key metrics including quality, productivity, attendance, efficiency, and customer service levels, taking corrective action when results fall below expectations.
- Review and analyze breakage, quality, and production reports to identify trends, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions that improve performance and reduce waste.
- Establish clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and workplace behavior while holding team members accountable to department and company standards.
Talent & Performance Management
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing and selecting top talent.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, bi-monthly performance reviews, and development discussions to support team member growth and engagement.
- Partner with Human Resources to address employee relations matters, performance concerns, attendance issues, and policy violations in a timely and consistent manner.
- Verify employee timecards, attendance records, and schedule adjustments to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Culture, Communication & Continuous Improvement
- Lead department meetings, shift huddles, and communication efforts to keep team members informed, aligned, and engaged.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lean initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and team member experience.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and work instructions are consistently followed while serving as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and company values.
- Collaborate with other departments and leaders to resolve issues, improve processes, and achieve organizational goals.

Days & Hours: Sunday - Thursday, evening/nighttime hours understanding that there may be some off-shift hours necessary
This is an exempt, salaried position. Target salary range is around $80,000+ with additional bonus opportunity, and flexibility for highly qualified candidates with extensive leadership experience. Candidates may be considered at different levels based on leadership background and scope of responsibility.
