Job Title: Studio Staff (Studio Technician)
About the Studio Staff Role:
The Studio Staff role is a vital part of the Color Me Mine brand, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting operational tasks related to the efficient maintenance and operation of the studio. This position is responsible for supporting the Studio Manager and Studio Owner with assigned daily studio tasks and fostering a positive team environment. The Studio Staff represents the Color Me Mine Brand and Experience with pride. This role receives a set base pay plus tips.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver a world-class guest experience to all guests of Color Me Mine.
- Maintain Color Me Mine product knowledge to identify guest needs and assist with the pottery painting process
- Maintain Color Me Mine technique knowledge to assist guests
- Maintain Color Me Mine pricing knowledge to assist guests
- Promote Color Me Mine events and parties
- Become cross-trained in kiln room tasks (training provided)
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization to preserve Color Me Mine's Brand image
- Report defective items to the Studio Manager (burned-out lightbulbs, broken items, etc,)
- Answer phone calls and record and report messages to the Studio Manager or Studio Owner as needed
- Perform opening and closing tasks
- Perform sales transactions
- Follows inventory and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) count procedures as directed
- Handle guests' pick-ups with ease and efficiency
- Demonstrate our Guiding Principles through professional conduct and teamwork
- Communicate openly and respectfully with team members
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve job related skills
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
- Contribute to a positive team environment and assist coworkers as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on strong hospitality skills
- Must represent Color Me Mine in a friendly and professional manner on the phone and in person
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional during challenging situations
- Must be reliable, dedicated with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic
- Must adhere to all Color Me Mine philosophies, policies, and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Adaptable to software and technology adopted by Color Me Mine.

Physical Requirements: This position involves standing for extended periods, walking, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulder height, and lifting boxes or inventory items weighing up to 50 pounds.
