Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures, medical terminology, and administrative support within a dental or medical office setting. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients and the dental team, ensuring clear communication of treatment plans, scheduling, and financial arrangements. Your professionalism and organizational skills will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care and streamlined office operations.

Duties

Explain treatment plans to patients clearly, ensuring they understand procedures, costs, and financing options.
Coordinate with dental providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Schedule appointments efficiently while managing patient flow to optimize clinic productivity.
Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with financial arrangements related to their treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of treatment plans, patient information, and billing details in the office management system.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding pre-appointment preparations and post-treatment instructions.
Support the dental team by providing administrative assistance, including managing correspondence and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while fostering a welcoming environment for patients.

Requirements

Prior experience in a medical or dental office environment is REQUIRED.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care and treatment planning.
Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support with attention to detail.
Office experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling, record-keeping, and insurance processing.
Familiarity with dental office operations, including treatment planning and patient communication.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting while maintaining professionalism.
